These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Roo AI application and related services ("Service") operated by Roo AI ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using Roo you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings or by contacting support@rooai.care.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Roo offers a free tier and a paid Plus subscription that unlocks additional features.
- Mobile (iOS / Android): Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID or Google Play account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Subscriptions.
- Web: Payments are processed through Razorpay. Applicable pricing is displayed at checkout.
- Prices are listed in the app and may vary by region and currency.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next renewal.
4. Refunds
For mobile purchases, refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies. For web purchases processed via Razorpay, please contact support@rooai.care within 7 days of purchase.
5. Not Medical Advice
Roo is an AI assistant and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content generated by Roo is for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns. In case of an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Interfere with the Service's operation or other users' access.
- Use the Service to generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology in the Service are owned by Roo AI or its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit (messages, images, etc.) but grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
